Baker Bindi adopts Cassie Pup to be her helper in the bakery. He has a famous cupcake recipe and is entered into a bakeoff with Cordelia the cat. The competition gets out of control and the beautiful bakery is covered in ingredients. Cassie and Cordelia learn an important lesson about rivalry and learning to work together. 

This book is beautifully illustrated with lots of detail and wonderful color. The story of Cassie and Cordelia has a simple lesson told in a very entertaining way.
