I love this collection of stories by Jackie Rod. From Missionary Dreams to Depression Apples, you will find vignettes of life in the south. Each story is different but brings a bit of southern charm and essence of a simpler life. Ms Rod is an excellent storyteller and I look forward to more stories by her.
